We are a group of concerned
citizens primarily from Lafayette and Walnut Creek who are concerned
about this development specifically, similar developments in general,
and potential trends for cities to relax their excellent standards in
order to appear sensitive to short-term housing trends. We have just won a victory in our efforts, by helping to clarify some of the deficiencies in the proposed design, both its location and proposed design. Please see the graphics below to see the effrontery of the proposal. Note: We have not attempted to display the visual blight and scarring of the 350 foot roadway and accompanying retaining walls above or below. This would come from the left of the picture.
